Title: “How and when to apply for a job in academia”

Abstract: An overview of the job application process for a graduate student applying for a job in academia.  I will discuss CVs, teaching statements, and cover letters as well as give tips and tricks for standing out to a search committee among hundreds of other applications.  Then I will give a suggested timeline for a less overwhelming experience.
