Dr. Duc Nguyen as been awarded a College of Arts & Sciences Outstanding Dissertation Award for his dissertation entitled “High order FDTD methods for electromagnetic systems in dispersive inhomogeneous media”.

The College Graduate Committee has also nominated Duc’s thesis for the UA Graduate School’s Outstanding Dissertation Award. Winners of the campus-wide competition will be announced in January 2016.
