UA Chapter of the American Mathematical Society

The American Mathematical Society is a national organization focusing on research in the mathematical sciences. The local Graduate Student Chapter at the University of Alabama was started in late 2019 and is still in the process of organizing and hosting events. The goal is to organize various activities throughout the year to promote scholarship among graduate students in the mathematics department here at UA. These will include, but will not be not limited to, workshops, conferences, and outreach opportunities.
