The following software is used regularly in the mathematics department:
- LaTeX: The document preparation system used to create mathematics theses, dissertations, and other scholarly works.
- MATLAB: A multi-paradigm numerical computing environment that allows for matrix manipulations, implementation of algorithms, and other computing abilities.

- WebAssign: An online instructional application used in many of the 100- and 200-level courses.
- WeBWork: An open-source online homework system for math and science courses.
