Contact geometry in low dimensions

Abstract: This series of talks will be about explaining some fundamental open problems in three-dimensional contact geometry. This second talk will focus on some essentials of contact geometry for those who has very little experience with them. In the subsequent talks we will gradually narrow our focus on the speaker’s current research, and progress he is making with his collaborators.
