Jacob Glidewell, a freshman math major, scored a 40 on the 81st Putnam Exam.  This is a nation wide mathematics competition, challenging the best students across the country.  The median score on this year’s exam was an 8, and a score of 40 places Jacob in the top 100 competitors in the United States.  Congratulations to Jacob for an outstanding performance!
