Two math majors, Jacob Glidewell and Justin Saye, placed in the top 489 on the  82nd Putnam Math Competition.  This contest is the pre-eminent undergraduate mathematics competition in the United States and Canada, and 2,975 students participated. The UA team finished 43rd out of 427 participating. Congratulations to the both of them and the team as a whole.
