Our Chair, David Cruz-Uribe, was lamenting his greying beard and was threatening to dye it.  The department called his bluff and offered to raise money for a local charity if they could pick the color.  He accepted the challenge and the department promptly raised over $500 for the West Alabama Foodbank.  The winning color was Crimson Storm, closely followed by Rasberry Kamikaze.   And here are before and after pictures of our Chair with his Crimson beard.  He has promised that when this grows out, he will make the next beard Rasberry.    Thanks to everyone in the
