The Simons Foundation announced today that Professor Shan Zhao’s Collaboration Grant for Mathematicians application, “High order operator splitting methods for biomolecular simulations” was selected for funding.

The goal of the program is to support the “mathematical marketplace” by substantially increasing collaborative contacts between mathematicians. More information about the Simons Foundation can be found on the Simons Foundation website.
