Anastasia Ramig, a double major in Math and Physics, won the Florida/Alabama Regional in the 2022-23 EnergyTech University Prize competition.  Working with a PhD student, Mohammad Alsmadi, they pitched a product derived from research and inventions coming out of the lab of Engineering professor Jaber Abu Qahouq.  These devices monitor the health of electric vehicle batteries.    She will be representing UA at the national finals in Austin, Texas, in April.
